Reconciliation Action Plan

Bayer completed its first ‘Reflect’ Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in 2021, and is now developing an ‘Innovate’ RAP with Reconciliation Australia.

The RAP is a blueprint for Bayer’s pursuit of reconciliation. The RAP supported us to collaborate and share knowledge, skills and expertise to build strong relationships with First Nation peoples and communities.

Bayer’s Reflect RAP can be downloaded here.

Bayer also proudly supports of the Uluru Statement from the Heart and constitutional recognition of First Nations Australians through a Voice to Parliament.

The Uluru Statement from The Heart is a landmark consensus and declaration from Australia’s First Nations peoples. It calls for constitutional recognition of First Nations, the establishment of a Voice to Parliament and a Makarrata – the coming together after a struggle to agree on a way forward.

At Bayer, we are working every day to achieve our vision of Health for all, Hunger for none.  We believe The Uluru Statement and Constitutional Recognition of a Voice to Parliament offers a stronger chance for First Nations peoples to shape critical policies including health for their communities.

As we embark on our ‘Innovate’ Reconciliation Action Plan, and continue to support our partnerships with Indigenous communities, we acknowledge the role and expectations of Bayer as a contributor to supporting First Nations peoples.
