Bayerboost New Zealand

The initiative, which supports Bayer's mission statement, “Bayer: Science For A Better Life”, is run in partnership with the Royal Society of New Zealand, an independent organisation that promotes science and technology.

The main aim of Bayerboost is to help students into paid holiday employment in the areas of environmental research and restoration.

Scholarships will be worth between NZ$3000 and NZ$6000 depending on whether the student is a tertiary or secondary school student. Possible employers, or host organisations, include the Department of Conservation, Landcare, AgResearch and other companies involved in environmental sciences.
